Summer Sunset Concert Series

Four free concerts will usher in the warm weather months during the Summer Sunset Series at the Palace Theater in Historic Downtown Bryan. Each Thursday in June will feature high-energy performances from local and regional bands playing from 8-10:30pm in the open-air venue at the corner of Main and 26th St.

2015 CSISD Hall of Fame Honorees

The 2015 College Station Independent School District  Hall of Fame Banquet, hosted by the CSISD Education Foundation, was held Thursday, April 23 to honor the top 7% of graduating seniors voted on by the teachers and staff from each high school.  This year, 57 students from A&M Consolidated, College Station, and Timber Academy High Schools were selected based on their integrity, leadership, positive attitude and school spirit.

USDA Farming Grants Available

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that USDA is making $30 million available to farmers, ranchers and food entrepreneurs to develop new product lines. Funding will be made available through USDA’s Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program.
