caprock.jpgFrom elementary school kids to competitive runners, there is a place for everyone at the CapRock ER Cougar 5K Run Saturday, Sept. 5, at College Station High School. Registration is open through 7:30am on race day. The 5K race kicks off at 8am and includes chip timing, place medals in multiple age categories, prizes and giveaways during the event, finisher medals, recovery refreshments and a bounce house for kids.

Register before Friday to pick up Race Packets at the CapRock ER, located at 948 William D. Fitch Pkwy, College Station, 77845, from 9am to 5pm through Thursday and until 7pm on Friday.

The 5K will be held at College Station High School, 4002 Victoria Ave., College Station, 77845.

Families with elementary-age children can join the $500 Elementary Challenge, a community-wide 5K family event within the CapRock ER Cougar 5K. The CS High School Cougar Club will award $500 to the PE program of an area elementary school with the largest number registering in the CapRock ER Cougar 5K. Any students, family members, teachers, or staff who register will be counted toward the total registered. Information about registrants’ home campuses will be collected during packet pick up. Whole family registration for up to six family members is $70.
