Runners will be stampeding their way through Bryan/College Station, October 1, at 7:30am, as the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History hosts the 8th Annual Buffalo Stampede.

Athletes will have the opportunity to show off their skills by running the Half Marathon or 5K Stampede. Organizers are planning some surprises along the popular race course this year, and runners will enjoy the UTAF-certified course again; run in the Buffalo Stampede and qualify for other races.

Save money by registering for the Buffalo Stampede early.  For more information, visit the Buffalo Stampede’s page on Active at bitly.com/buffalostampede16, follow the BCS Buffalo Stampede on Twitter @BCSStampede and on Facebook at BCS Buffalo Stampede Half-Marathon & 5K, or call (979) 776-2195.

The Museum, located in the Brazos Center, is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm. For more information, visit www.brazosvalleymuseum.org.
