The Downtown Bryan Association will kick off another football weekend with Football Fridays in Downtown Bryan, Friday, October 16.
The Palace Theater will feature a free concert from local funk band Eraserhead beginning at 8pm, sponsored by the City of Bryan. Playing a mix of funk, gospel, R&B, blues and jazz, they will be playing cover songs as well as some of their own original writings guaranteed to make you move your feet.
October 30: Fright Nights Downtown
November 6: First Friday featuring KP and the Boom Boom. Combining the hallmarks of funk, soul, disco, R&B, jazz and world music, KP and the Boom Boom is guaranteed to get you out of your seat and moving to their unique brand of music.
November 13: El Tule: El Tule is for those who love to dance, feel good and enjoy the positive expression of music. For the last decade, the band has been honing its unique sound combining influences of Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa and Reggae – sharing the stage along the way with The Gipsy Kings, Grupo Fantasma, The Texas Tornados and many others. Their high-energy live show has made them a festival favorite all across the country and at SXSW.
