crcc nav front view profThe first Classic Rock Coffee Co. franchise in Texas has opened in Navasota, offering an atmosphere filled with rock classics in the air, memorabilia along the walls, themed merchandise, and great coffees and food. The “Dirty White Boy” and “Freebird” are just a couple of the classic rock themed items found on the menu. Historic downtown Navasota now boasts a coffeehouse that offers not only fresh coffee blends from all over the world, but also smoothies, protein shakes, sandwiches, sweets, flatbreads, salads, and soup.

Bringing a high-quality coffee to the public is most important, as roasting is done at the Springfield, Mo. home office then shipped within three days to the shop. Comments and reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and Navasota has seen a noticeable jump in overall sales tax generation and neighboring businesses benefitting from this new establishment.

Customers can register an AppCard and all they need is their cell phone number for each visit to gain points for discounts. Classic Rock Coffee also offer gift cards and hope to bring live entertainment soon.

Also in the building is a retail store called Navasota Blues Alley that boasts vintage records, guitars and accessories, harmonicas, record players, speakers, ukuleles, and picks.

Classic Rock Coffee Co. franchise started in 2011 and there are already additional Texas locations being considered by investors in Austin, Houston/Spring, and Pearland. The location in Navasota is owned by Navasota mayor, Bert Miller, who saw an opportunity and a need in their historic downtown for such an establishment.
