unnamedThe Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley, in partnership with Delta Kappa Epsilon, is hosting Ducky Derby on April 8 at Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater, during the Starlight Music Series Concert.

Ducky Derby works like a raffle – once you have adopted your rubber duck(s), your name will be assigned to a numbered duck. The ducks will then be dumped into Wolf Pen Creek and “race” through the water. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ducks to cross the finish line. Entrants do not need to be present to win.

Prizes

  • 1st place will receive a $1000 gift card to the store of your choice
  • 2nd place will receive a $250 HEB gift card
  • 3rd place will receive free Chick-Fil-A for a year

Adoption fees are $10 for one duck, a “Six-Quack” for $50, or a “Quackers Dozen” (13) for $100. All proceeds from this event benefit the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley.

The mission of The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is to provide a child-centered, hands-on, interactive environment for learning and discovery. Since 1995, The Children’s Museum has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors through its doors and brought learning through play into actuality. To learn more, or to adopt your rubber duck(s), visit www.cmbv.org or call The Children’s Museum at 779-5437.
