In partnership with Bryan Texas Utilities, the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is excited to announce the arrival of its newest exhibit – the Illumination Station! Remember the light brite toys you had growing up? You know, the small handheld peg board with glow-in-the-dark pegs? Picture your old light brite but bigger and brighter. That’s The Illumination Station! Boasting 1,000 glowing pegs, and an LED lit screen – the Children’s Museum’s Illumination Station is more than five feet tall – and great for all ages to create and imagine, while improving fine motor skills.

This new exhibit is made possible by BTU – Bryan Texas Utilities, who is committed to improving the lives of our community’s residents – by providing electric utility service for our everyday lives, and for the Illumination Station!

The Illumination Station opened to the public on Aug. 5, with their official ribbon cutting ceremony happening on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
