Thursday, August 11, Junior League of Bryan/College Station will host its second annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive at the Brazos Center on Briarcrest Drive in Bryan from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Donations also will be accepted at the Tower Point HEB in South College Station. As an added incentive, you can stuff yourself from two local gourmet food trucks during lunch and dinner and help raise even more funds for the Stuff the Bus event as the Junior League works to provide school supplies for more than 16,000 students in-need throughout Bryan ISD, College Station ISD, and several local agencies.

Needed items include: washable markers, colored pencils, 12” X 18” manila paper, 12” X 18” construction paper, #2 pencils, dry erase markers, notebook paper, pocket folders (solid colors), pink pearl erasers and spiral notebooks.

Donations can also be taken to any or our community partners. You can find a complete list of our community partners on www.jlbcs.org. Businesses interested in receiving a donation box should contact Randi Boleman at rboleman@aol.com.

HEB grocery stores will be collecting point-of-purchase cash donations for Stuff the Bus through August 31. Residents can support this signature project when shopping at all local HEB stores.

Junior League members coordinate all aspects of the program including: scheduling and transportation, purchasing and inventory, donation tracking, supply stuffing, and serving as a liaison with the school district.
