Imani was founded in 2011 in Bryan. A faith-based organization designed to compliment existing organizations, Imani helps families develop a better future and defeat poverty in African nations. With various mission programs and child sponsorships, Imani helps provide African communities with medical and school supplies, clean water, food, education and healthcare.

Imani will be having a Launch Party at the Astin Mansion for a new women’s program, Imanixchange (www.imanixchange.com). The party will be on April 25, and consist of a nice dinner, concert by Mark Swayze and an overall night of fun! Imanixchange will be established in Kenya in May 2013 as a women empowerment program teaching sewing and providing financial management education, standard health practices, agriculture development and more.
