On September 30, from 11:30am – 1:30pm, at the College Station Hilton, the Chamber’s Transportation Forum will help educate the public about Prop 1 before the November 4 ballot.

About 52% of transportation funding comes from the state so the Forum will focus on the critical need for additional state and local transportation funding.

Commissioner Todd Staples, Executive Director Andrea French, Transportation Advocacy Group, and Move Texas Forward will anchor the luncheon presentations and Q&A discussions. There will be several local transportation experts from Texas A&M, the Cities of Bryan and College Station, and the Texas Department of Transportation to answer questions.

Individual tickets are $25, a table of 8 as a Table Sponsor is $250, a table of 8 as a Program Sponsor is $500. The level of sponsorship received from the community will also help the Chamber determine the amount of resources committed to continued education and outreach.
