The Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce will host their 2016 Annual Banquet, featuring Keynote Speaker Drayton McLane III, Chairman of The McLane Group, on Monday, Nov. 14, at the Hilton College Station. The event is sponsored by the City of College Station.
The Annual Banquet officially serves to welcome new Board Chairman David O’Neil, with Wells Fargo Bank, and to recognize outgoing board members, including Immediate Past Chairman Robert “Bobby” Bisor, with the Office of the Provost at Texas A&M University, for their service to the Chamber. The banquet will also allow the Chamber to recognize its Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year.
The Chamber will recognize John E. Anderson, with Merrill Lynch, as the 2016 Citizen of the Year. Each year, the Citizen of the Year is chosen based on long term civic contributions to the development and quality of life of the Bryan-College Station community.
Sheree Boegner, with Wells Fargo Bank, will be honored as the 2016 Volunteer of the Year. The Volunteer of the Year award recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in volunteer service to the B/CS Chamber of Commerce and to our community.
