Dance the waltz, polka and two-step at the third annual Brazos Valley Czech Heritage Society Valentine’s Day Dance at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The dance starts on February 14 at 1pm with live entertainment from The Praha Brothers. Tickets are $10 for adults and children 12 or younger are free.

Begin the Valentine’s weekend with live music by Tony Ramey in the Biergarten at Home Sweet Farm in Brenham, Friday, February 12, beginning at 7:30pm. While you’re there, be sure to pick up the perfect bubbly cheese plate compliment: Baracchi Brut Rose, a blushing pink with a nose of ripe cherries, wild berries and rose blossoms; or, Faire La Fete, from the the village of Limoux, “the birthplace of bubble”, the light golden color with vibrant aromas and flavors of baked apple, white cherry and lemon meringue. Follow up with local Sweet Heat jams or chocolate sauce to pair with fruit and artisan cheeses.

Make Saturday, February 13, an outing to the Chappell Hill Lavender Farm and pick up extra charming, locally crafted gifts for your special Valentine. The farm and gift shop are open 10am-2pm and features new bath and body products as well as gift sets, home remedies, and culinary delights.  

StageCenter Theatre’s production of “Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years” will have a special Valentine’s dinner theatre showing February 13, at 7:30pm.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night of romance and harmony with Texas A&M’s Century Singers. Make your sweetheart swoon with a night featuring ensemble and solo performances ticket proceeds will benefit the Century Singers’ trip to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall. Bell Ranch Steakhouse at the Hilton Conference Center is having a Valentine’s Dinner special on February 13 and 14. The dinner is $120 per couple. Yoga + chocolate + wine = love. Feel the love with an evening of yoga, chocolate, and wine at Om Grown Yoga and Tea Bar. Friday, February 12, starting at 6pm, the evening includes a candlelit restorative yoga practice following a relaxing glass of wine. Grab a free chocolate truffle if you head to Downtown Uncorked for more Valentine’s Day specials (tickets sold separately). Tickets are available for $25/person or $40 with a friend.

If you aren’t into Valentine’s Day, there’s still something for you on Sunday, February 14. Celebrate Un-Valentine’s Day at Revolution Cafe and Bar Sunday for a night of anti-love slam poetry. Audience members will be voting on the top poets. Slams begin at 8:30pm. Admission is FREE.
