Sixteen singer-songwriters have competed for $1,000 in cash and prizes at the competition hosted at Grand Stafford Theater in Downtown Bryan. The preliminary rounds of Texas Music Pickers Top Pick Competition consisted of two rounds, which were held September 19, and the top 10 have advanced to the final rounds to be held September 25.
The competing artists include: Grand Stafford’s own musician-in-residence Landon McGee, Mando Salas, Pedro Ramirez, AJ Guel, Jarrett Everett, Nathan Bonnes, Chancy Bernson, Jed Crisp, Steve Idlett, Josh Vincent, Raul Tinajero, Julie Reese, Brian Chance, Hannah Elizabeth Smith, Sarah Olivia Buss, and Amber Adams.
The Grand Stafford Theater is located on 106 S. Main Street, in the heart of Downtown Bryan’s cultural district, just two doors down from the iconic Queen Theater.
