emailimageFirst Friday is 10 years old, and Downtown Bryan will throw a giant birthday party on Friday, October 2 to celebrate.

The festivities kick off with a mayoral proclamation at 6pm on the steps just outside the Parker Astin Arts Center at 108 N. Bryan St.

Many downtown businesses will be hosting birthday-themed activities and while it lasts, birthday cake will be served at the Palace Theater. A limited number of kid-sized t-shirts donated by CC Creations will be given away during the evening, and new First Friday t-shirts will be available for sale at the Queen Theatre.

As always, street musicians will entertain the crowd, and a free concert at the Palace will begin with the Brazos Valley Community Band at 6pm, followed by Soul Track Mind at 8pm.
