Operation Finally Home is coming to Bryan/College Station. This national non-profit is partnering with local home builders to a build mortgage-free custom home for a wounded veteran in the acreage neighborhood of King Oaks.

Since 2005, Operation FINALLY HOME has provided custom homes to wounded and disabled veterans to help them get their lives back on track and become productive members of their communities. The program’s founder, Dan Wallrath, was a 2010 CNN Top 10 Hero of the Year. This will be the first home built by the organization in Bryan/College Station.

In order to give back to these heroes who have sacrificed so much, OFH partners with corporate sponsors, individual contributors, developers, contractors and volunteers to build homes.

Operation Finally Home invites the public to join them on Thursday, October 11, at the University Title Company from 4:30pm to 6:30pm to learn more about this program and how to get involved. Representatives from Operation Finally Home, local builders and King Oaks will be on hand to answer any questions about this community effort to honor veterans.
