Director Randy Wilson and The Theatre Company will be presenting Little Women, the Musical February 21-23, and February 28-March 2 at the Tejas Center in Bryan. Based on Louisa May Alcott’s novel that follows the daily lives of the March sisters, the Musical is designed to resonate with audiences the importance of family. The added musical aspects create the feeling of reliving a fond memory.
The performance will include the talents of Katie Brown as Jo, Tyler Alyse Archer as Amy, Michelle Deschner as Meg, Janie Kate Morgan as Beth, and Kathy Oelze as Marmee. Wilson is well known for being creative and pushing the actors to deliver memorable performances. First performed on Broadway in 2005, the musical is known for its strong female roles, and will be well suited to the talented actors of The Theatre Company.
Others in the cast are Josh Oelze, Curt Gulde, Dominic Burke, Wendy Lee, James Cho, Bobbee Pennington, Mckenna Booth, Jeremy Hume, Matthew Winkler, John McMullen, Lucy Harper, Laura Orr, Samantha Bradford, Jonathan Gulde, Tyler Oelze, Joel Oelze, Luke Oelze, Colleen Gulde, Katherine Gulde, Lauren Moore, Katelyn Oelze, Maddie Robinson, Rebekah Oelze, Lucy Harper, Susan Moore, and Kathryn Sutton.
Performances will be held Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, and Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm through March 2. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and senior citizens, and $5 for children. All adults are $15 during Saturday matinees. Tickets may be purchased at the theatre box one hour prior each performance, or online at www.theatrecompany.com, or at the Arts Council of Brazos Valley.
