The event will take place at the 2nd Floor Meeting room in the Clara B. Mounce Public Library.Jeanette Larson, Texas Hummingbird author, will visit the Clara B. Mounce Public Library from 11am to 12 noon on Saturday, April 28.

Larson’s most recent book, “Hummingbirds: Facts and Folklore from the Americas,” tells of the lifecycle of hummingbirds as well as retellings of hummingbird folklore from indigenous peoples of the Americas. The book was co-written with illustrator Adrienne Yorinks.

Attendees are welcome to speak with Larson to learn more about writing and hummingbirds. There will be a book signing after the talk. Barnes and Noble will bring books to sell, or guests can bring their own copy of Larson’s book to be signed.
