Local Law Enforcement Officers are participating in the Special Olympics Tip-a-Cop fundraiser. This year Tip-a-Cop will be held at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant at 1601 University Drive East in College Station on July 23 and 24.
Officers from the Bryan Police Department, College Station Police Department, Brazos County Constables, Brazos County Sheriff’s Department, Texas A&M University Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will assist the Texas Roadhouse wait staff for tips. Officers will refill drinks and assist the public in any way possible to collect tips, all of which will directly benefit the Special Olympics in the Brazos Valley area.
Chiefs from each department will be door greeters and vehicles from each department will be in the parking lot on display.
Law Enforcement officers are keepers of the flame for the Special Olympics and raise money for the Special Olympics each year. Officers also participate in a Torch Run every year to the Special Olympics State games and volunteer time working security at games held in the Brazos Valley.
Take the family out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse on July 23 & 24 (Wednesday and Thursday) from 5:30pm – 10:00pm for a good meal and a good time with local Law Enforcement Officers. Provide fun for the whole family, a positive impact on the community, and your tips will directly benefit a great cause and a great asset to the Brazos Valley.
