In recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, Voices For Children/CASA and Scotty’s House Child Advocacy Center are hosting the second annual Dog Tired of Child Abuse Hot Dog Eating Contest.

In recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, Voices For Children/CASA and Scotty’s House Child Advocacy Center are hosting the second annual Dog Tired of Child Abuse Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Dog Tired of Child Abuse – a fun, family-friendly event that allows youth in our community to be a voice for other children who need one. Includes a hot dog eating contest, with prizes given for first, second and third place in each age category (6-9 years, 10-13 years, 14-17 years, 18 and up). Registration fee is $25 per person. The deadline to register is April 20. Hot dogs will be available for purchase as well as free craft booth activities for kids of all ages. Celebrity judges will be on hand to help with the contest.

Dog Tired of Child Abuse will be held 11am to 1pm, Saturday, April 26, at Sue Haswell Park, 1142 E. William J. Bryan Parkway (Pavilion A), in Bryan.

Proceeds from the hot dog eating contest will benefit Voices For Children, Scotty’s House and the abused and neglected children they serve every day.
