100% of registration fees for Saturday’s OneRun 5K will go to accounts set up for the families of Brian Bachmann, Chris Northcliffe and Barbara Holdsworth. The OneRun 5K will be held September 22 at the Scott & White Clinic on University Drive in College Station benefitting the families of Brian Bachmann, Chris Northcliffe and Barbar Hodlsworth. It will begin with a one-mile race for children at 8am, followed by the start of the 5K at 8:15am.

OneRun 5K organizers Mike Nugent, Dan McClain, Rodney Wellmann and Chris Field are using their interest in running to bring the community together to provide financial assistance and to show support of these families affected by the tragic shooting in College Station last month.

“This is an event everyone can do together; something we can do as a community of individuals, businesses and families,” Nugent says.

Registration is $25 per person or $70 per family and includes a t-shirt from CC Creations. Participants may register online at the OneRun 5K Facebook page. The page also has an option for donations for those not able to participate in the 5K. Registration may also be completed in person, with cash or check only, at Brazos Running Company, located in the Culpepper Shopping Center next to Kohls.

One hundred percent of registration fees will go directly to bank accounts for each family. For more information regarding sponsorship or registration, call Dan McClain at (979) 485-9830.
