Local women’s organization, The Junior League of Bryan College Station, is hosting the Under The Big Top Charity Ball in December at The Hall of Champions in Kyle Field.

When the group was formed by just five women more than thirty years ago, the intent was to positively influence the community, and this year’s charity ball is a fundraising effort to support that three-decade-old mission. Now an organization of more than 400 women, the charitable and educational organization is known for training women in leadership and voluntarism.

On Dec. 2, attendees will enjoy performances from a ringmaster, lion tamer, trapeze artist, and more at the black tie event. There will also be a live auction by the Heath Hale Auctioneers and a performance by The Royal Dukes Band. Raffle tickets for David Gardner’s jewelry can also be purchased for $50.

Individuals can purchase tickets for $150 or groups can buy a table for $1,500. Reservations must be made by Nov. 10. For more information on the event and to purchase tickets, visit www.jlbcs.org.
