Take 25 will take place Thursday, May 24, at Grand Station from 4-7pm. The Bryan and College Station Police Departments, Texas A&M University Police Department and the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office will join forces Thursday, May 24, to host Take 25 at Grand Station in College Station from 4pm to 7pm.

The officers will fingerprint children and provide safety information to parents. Each child will receive a punch card that can be redeemed for a game card from Grand Station after visiting all of the resource stations.

This is the sixth annual national Take 25 campaign. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children started the campaign in 2007 as a way to encourage families to take 25 minutes to discuss child safety and abduction prevention.

“Children’s actions enable them to escape attempted abductions more than half of the time,” says Ernie Allen, president and CEO of NCMEC. “It is important that parents and others take the time to talk to their children about these issues.”
