Organization Offering Free Turkish Classes

Study Turkish, a student organization at Texas A&M University established in 2008, is offering a free 10-week Turkish course. No prior experience with the language is required. Study Turkish’s primary goal is to promote learning of Turkish and Turkic Languages on campus and in the community.  In order to fulfill this goal the organization aims to provide the members an opportunity to learn the Turkish language and its great culture and history.

In addition to beginner classes, Study Turkish offers intermediate and advanced language classes. Classes are available both on and off campus.

Before classes begin, Study Turkish will be hosting a brief orientation about the course, its content, the textbook and more. The orientation will be held on Thursday, January 24, from 5:30-6:30pm in the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University, room 2503.

Beginner classes will be held off-campus on Saturdays, starting January 26th, from 11:00am-1:30pm. On-campus classes will be held on Thursdays, starting January 31st, from 5:30-8:00pm.
