The public is invited to celebrate 39 years of Harvest with an authentic, hands-on experience and celebratory events at all three Messina Hof locations beginning Friday, July 30th, and continuing until Sunday, August 28th.
This long time tradition honors the bounty of the vineyard, dating back to Messina, Sicily. The practice was revived at Messina Hof Winery in Bryan by a group of Texas A&M University students who offered their assistance in harvesting Messina Hof’s vineyard, today we continue the legacy with a month long festival.
“We love the opportunity to share such a time honored tradition as harvest with our customers. It is truly a celebration of the beginning of new life and the start of the next vintage of amazing wine,” said Messina Hof Chief Executive Officer Paul Bonarrigo.
Messina Hof’s Harvest events include:
• Daytime Harvest activities that include grape picking and stomping at Messina Hof Estate Winery and Messina Hof Hill Country
• Specialty dinners including Murder Mystery Dinners, a wine blending competition and dinner in the vineyard
• Interactive classes with wine glass painting and wine and food pairings
Events vary depending on location. More information and a full calendar listing of all of Messina Hof’s Harvest activities can be found at www.messinahof.com/harvest.
