On November 11 at the Aggie Agora meeting in Room 453 of the Liberal Arts and Humanities Building, a local non-profit group will work with a civic engagement initiative from Texas A&M University to address racial issues affecting the Brazos Valley community. Hosted by BCS Be the Bridge and Aggie Agora, this discussion will be in a roundtable format and will start at 6:30pm, lasting until 8:30pm. The conversation will be about racial inequality and will be brought up for analysis by a diverse group of local women from BCS Be the Bridge. The goal of this conversation is to bridge the social and racial gaps that exist in the Brazos Valley community by building relationships across all races. This is done in the hopes of unifying the community by creating a greater understanding on racial justice. The event is free to attend but RSVPs are appreciated.
