The Stella, the first independent, upscale boutique hotel in Bryan College Station, opens on Thursday, April 6.

The Stella’s rooms and suites offer a sophisticated yet relaxed feel, with several of the suites endowed with wraparound balconies allowing expansive views of the lake, golf course and Texas A&M University’s famous Kyle Field. Indulge in the finest ingredients found in Central Texas at Campfire, The Stella’s on-site restaurant. The menu has a heavy focus on locally raised beef from 44 Farms, slow smoked proteins, and sustainable seafood. Campfire features an open kitchen with a 10-person chef’s table that is designated for monthly wine dinners. The restaurant spills out onto an expansive patio with fire pits and lakeside views creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfectly evoking those memories of sitting around a campfire with friends and family. Complementing Campfire is Hershel’s, a speakeasy-style bar authentically matched with Texas hospitality. The bar, which offers indoor and outdoor seating, features the largest bourbon selection in Brazos County, an exclusive cigar program, elegant craft cocktails and notable beers and wine by the glass. The seasonally driven restaurant is helmed by Executive Chef Zachary Ladwig, who most recently served as the chef de cuisine at the Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Located just adjacent to The Stella, P.O.V. is a sleek café serving up specialty coffee from San Antonio’s Merit Roasting Co., with several small batched blends, along with light fare, specialty brews and wine, all in a stylish, modern setting. For guests looking to catch some rays while sipping on refreshing libations, The Watershed serves as The Stella’s full-service poolside bar, which overlooks an expansive outdoor pool and features private cabanas and inviting lounge chairs.
The Stella offers more than 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space. They include a grand ballroom and outdoor lawn known as The Back Yard and are multi-use, functioning for business meetings, corporate retreats, weddings and social gatherings.
