June First Friday in Downtown Bryan will be held June 5 and feature a number of musical acts, specials, and entertainment.

The Dianna Burke Violin Studio is presenting Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” at the Palace Theater starting at 6pm followed by the Sam Rayburn Band at 7pm. At 7:30pm musician Matthew Mayfield takes the stage thanks to sponsor Lasalle Hotel. While Matthew is a Birmingham native, he is no stranger to Texas having performed at SXSW this past year. Matthew’s songs have been heard on numerous television shows, like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Nashville,” “Hart of Dixie,” and “Ringer,” to name a few. Performing at 9:15 p.m. is local favorite, Daniel Gonzales.

Head over to Sale Park and enjoy music from Kreation from 6-8pm. Stick around for a free showing of Finding Nemo at 8:30pm thanks to sponsor ACME Glass.

Be sure check out Bird’s Nest Gifts & Antiques, Downtown Bryan’s newest store. Celebrate the grand opening with live music from Risky Liver, refreshments, and drawings to win prizes.

StageCenter Community Theatre presents “Alone Together” by Lawrence Roman. Don’t miss out on this comical play about a couple whose children left the nest, then decide to move back home. Tickets can be purchased at www.stagecenter.net. Adult tickets are $12 and student and senior tickets are $10.
