On Friday, February 27, the 100 Club and Lions from the Bryan Evening, Bryan Noon and College Station Noon clubs are presenting “Honoring Our Heroes” dinner and concert. Peace officers and firefighters in Brazos County and their spouses will be honored guests. The event will be at the Brazos County Expo Center, 5827 Leonard Road, Bryan, beginning at 6:30pm, doors open at 6pm.
Texas native Neal McCoy will perform. Eight of McCoy’s singles have hit Top Ten in the country charts, and he has released three platinum albums. His concerts focus on the experience of the fans; he wants everyone to have a good time.
“While the meal and the show are nice, the real focus of ‘Honoring Our Heroes’ is to say thank you to our honorees,” says to Ron Gay, chair of the planning committee. “These public servants put their lives and their families’ futures at risk every workday to protect our safety, our property, our well-being.”
There are two levels of table sponsorships. A Chief table, which includes seating for eight guests of the sponsor is $2000. A Captain table, which provides seating for four guests of the sponsor and four first responder guests, is $1000. A $250 sponsorship provides reservations for peace officers and firefighters and their guests. Individual reservations are $75.
The deadline for reservations is February 23. For information, email Secretary@CSNoonLions.org, call (979) 268-7727, or visit http://csnoonlions.org/events/honoringourheroes/ or http://www.e-clubhouse.org/sites/bryannoon/.
