Freedom Roof Project presented by America’s Choice Roofing is hosting the “Block Party Celebration and Installation” on Saturday, March 30

Freedom Roof Project presented by America’s Choice Roofing is hosting the “Block Party Celebration and Installation” on Saturday, March 30 from 10:00am to 1:30pm at 114 Sterling St., College Station.

The Freedom Roof Project is a privately operated, community based program designed to help Brazos Valley neighbors. The goal is to help a local family in need with the high cost of roof replacement. Nominations from every Brazos Valley resident can assist the project in finding the families who will benefit the most from the free roof installation. The annual winner is generated through the simple three-step process: 1. Nominations from public 2. Votes from the public determine the winner 3. Free roof installation and celebration. The 2013 winner, Janet Gooden, a single mom with four children and seven grand children, will get their roof replacement on March 30.  America’s Choice Roofing invites everyone to witness the Gooden family’s great moment.

America’s Choice Roofing is located at 4301 Alexis Ct in College Station and has locally owned and operated by Gary & Frances Spivey since 1995. Serving residential and commercial customers, America’s Choice Roofing is a Certified Master Shingler and also certified in TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen Standing Seam Metal, R-Panel and Clay Tile. Their recent projects include Coach Sumlin’s Home, KORA Radio, Hidden Bridge Condos in Traditions, Texas A&M Hillell Foundation, First Bank and Trust and Boston’s.

With the desire to give back to the community that has contributed to America’s Choice Roofing’s success in the Brazos Valley, Mr. and Ms. Spivey started the Freedom Roof Project. It helps local residents who are in need of a new roof and have no other way of getting assistance and also brings the community together for the celebration and installation. Their next Freedom Roof Project will kick off in October 2013. For more information, visit www.freedomroofproject.com
