Nine Texas craft beer breweries will offer one-of-a-kind firkins for tasting at Firkin Fest in Downtown Bryan on Saturday, April 23. This first-ever event for the Brazos Valley features real ale – beer brewed under natural conditions and served from the cask in which it is fermented, called a firkin. Participants will be able to talk with representatives from each brewer and learn about the process of brewing in firkins.

The event takes place at the Palace Theater from 2-6pm and includes live music and food.

Tickets are available online. A VIP ticket option allows early entry to the festival, ensuring a full selection of tastings. Early purchase is recommended, as there are a limited number available based on the amount of beer brewed for the event.

Participating brewers are:

Blackwater Draw Brewing Company
Brazos Valley Brewing Company
Brigadoon Brewery & Brew School
Deep Ellum Brewing Company
Independence Brewing Co.
Karbach Brewing Co.
New Republic Brewing Company
Ranger Creek
Uncle Billy’s Brewery
