This month, 14 Texas craft beer breweries will offer their one-of-a-kind firkins for tasting at Firkin Fest in Downtown Bryan on Saturday, April 29. The event features real ale – beer brewed under natural conditions and served from the cask in which it is fermented, called a firkin.

The event takes place at the Palace Theater from 2-6pm. A ticket includes a tasting glass and eight sampling tickets, each redeemable for a three ounce pour. Additional tasting tickets will also be available at the event. Sponsor partner The Zone – Sports Radio 1150 AM will be serving up pretzel necklaces at the event.

Tickets are available online. A VIP ticket option allows early entry to the festival, ensuring a full selection of tastings. Early purchase is recommended, as there are a limited number available based on the amount of beer brewed for the event. Firkin Fest is a 21 and older event.
