For Veterans Week 2016, the Bryan Rotary Club will setup its fifth annual Field of Valor, a patriotic display of 1000 American flags in Veterans Park. The primary purposes of the FOV are to raise funds to SERVE the community, to HONOR those who serve selflessly, and to EDUCATE students through field trips to the park.

This year Bryan Rotary is encouraging community members to #TakeTwoInBlue and help show your support for our Local First Responders by sponsoring a flag to honor their vocation. For a $50 donation, Bryan Rotary will post flags in the names of two people who serve daily in the Police or Fire Departments. Tags are currently available at Prosperity Bank (601 E. Villa Maria), The Physicians Centre (3131 University Dr. E.), and The Ranch Harley-Davidson (4101 Texas Hwy 6 South).

Look for the Two In Blue Flag and poster.

Take a Tag to Sponsor. You Keep the top half with the pre-filled names of two First Responders (Bryan Fire Department, Bryan Police Department, and College Station Police Department represented this year).

Complete the bottom half, seal the cards and your payment in the pre-labeled envelope provided, and place it in the collection jar. You will receive an email confirmation once processed.

In November, you will receive an email notification about the grid location of the flags you sponsored so you can see them on display at Veterans Park Nov. 6-13. The Two in Blue that you sponsor will also be given the grid location so they can see the flags posted by you in their honor!

Flag reservation forms may also be downloaded and mailed in with a check or paid online with a credit card if you would like to reserve a flag and name a specific Veteran or First Responder. Visit www.Bryan-Rotary.org for these links.

The Bryan Rotary Club was chartered in 1921 and is a vibrant service club supporting education and local and international humanitarian initiatives. More information is available at www.Bryan-Rotary.org
