carnivalThe Brazos Valley Fair will be October 16-18 at the Brazos County Expo Complex.

Live music will be held every night with performances by the Charlie Daniels Band, Velcro Pygmies, and Los Terribles del Norte. Fairground attractions for all ages will include a canned-goods contest, rodeos, a petting zoo, animal races, pony rides, carnival games and rides, cotton candy, and more.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Grounds admission includes rodeos, concerts, grounds attractions, AgLand, commercial exhibits, and viewing of the livestock shows. Carnival rides, food, drink, and shopping are additional. Parking around the complex is free for the general public. Daily hours: Friday 4pm-midnight, Saturday 10am-midnight, and Sunday 11am-11pm.
