Entries are now being accepted for the Dec. 9 Downtown Bryan Lighted Christmas Parade. Set against the backdrop of Historic Downtown Bryan as it is illuminated by thousands of lights for the holidays, the nighttime parade has become a favorite tradition for the community.

The parade will begin at 24th and Bryan Street heading south, turn on 28th, and head back up Main Street. Downtown streets will close at 5:30pm and re-open at the conclusion of the parade. Floats, vehicles, fire engines and more, all complete with lights, of course, will join in for this night of fun! Santa Claus will also be making an appearance at the end of the parade!

School and community organizations are encouraged to enter the parade. Entry is free and subject to guidelines set by the Downtown Bryan Association. The parade begins at 6:30pm. Many downtown businesses will offer extended shopping hours during the parade.

Entries must be received by 5pm on December 1, and participants must be in their parking space by 5:30pm. All entrants will be checked by the parade director to ensure that all the parade entry rules are being followed.

The parade entry form, the parade entry rules, and more information can be found on the Downtown Bryan website.
