Feed your spring garden and help out the Brazos Valley Food Bank during the Brazos Valley Recycling Compost Give Away Days, March 7-8.
Brazos Valley Recycling is giving back to the community in appreciation for going green and recycling by offering a free truckload of premium compost at no charge. The compost is a custom blend specifically for Brazos Valley soils made from the food scraps of local restaurants, supermarkets, schools, Texas A&M, and other food waste generators. Give your garden or lawn a great pre-spring boost and see what a difference recycling can make for everyone by visiting the Brazos Valley Recycling facilities.
Brazos Valley Food Bank representatives will also be onsite during Compost Days to accept donations of cash or canned goods.
Brazos Valley Recycling is located at 8825 Stewarts Meadow in College Station. Compost Days Give Away hours: Friday, March 7, 8am to 5pm; Saturday, March 8, 8am to 3pm. For more information, visit www.brazosvalleyrecycling.com.
