The color run fundraiser benefitting Hope Pregnancy ‘s program, “Hannah’s Closet” will take place April 5 at A&M Church of Christ.
Hannah’s Closet is a material assistance program that provides mothers-to-be with new materials such as diapers, clothing, strollers, and more to assist in caring for their infant children. Items are earned by attending free parenting education classes at Hope, and generously supplied by donations to Hope Pregnancy Center by individuals and groups such as the KOR Freshman class.
Each year, KOR Education’s freshman class plans and executes an initiative to help the local Brazos Valley community.
Kor Education School is a private Christian school that offers a highly interesting and stimulating academic experience through which to inspire students to become self-directed and life-long learners.
This year’s class of 15 high school freshmen is organizing a “color run” to raise funds for Hope Pregnancy Center’s material assistance program.
The run will be an off-road 5K. To add an element of excitement, packets of color will be dispensed to runners and spectators to lob at one another. All participants are instructed to wear a white t-shirt to the race to enhance the color fun.
