Kick off the Christmas season with the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley at the Polar Express Pajama Party on Friday, Dec. 8, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Arrive at the Museum Station in your best pajamas, grab some hot cocoa and hop on the Polar Express Train for a moonlight ride. Head inside to warm up with a dinner of soup and sandwiches from favorite local eateries, craft some unique and memorable ornaments with your child, visit with Santa, and then settle in to experience the magic of the Polar Express story. You are sure to go home feeling the spirit of the Christmas season.

Tickets are $20 per child, and $10 per adult, with all proceeds benefiting the new Play Aggieland! exhibit at the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley. Play Aggieland, scheduled to begin construction this year, will bring iconic Brazos Valley landmarks to the Children’s Museum – in child-friendly sizes!

About the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley:
The mission of The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is to provide a child-centered, hands-on, interactive environment for learning and discovery.  Since 1995, The Children’s Museum has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors through its doors and brought learning through play into actuality. While The Museum began as a museum without walls, today it is home to 15 different interactive, educational exhibits that foster a love of learning and inspire young minds throughout the years. The Museum also boasts special programming and reading times that are designed for children and families to learn together through play, to put into practice what children are learning in the classroom, and to take practical learning skills home for continued discovery.  To learn more, visit
