Mothers, grandmothers, and sons of all ages are gearing up for “Night at the Museum: A Mummy-Son Night of FUN,” benefiting the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley. This event will be held Saturday, Oct. 21 from 6pm-8pm, at the Children’s Museum location – 4001 East 29th Street, Suite 80 in Bryan.

“Mummies” and sons will have fun at this Halloween-themed event with games, tunes, slime, food, costumed characters, and LEGO Robotics provided by  FUNgineering. There is something for boys of all ages!

Costumes are encouraged and there will be a contest for the best Mother-Son costumed duo, so bust out the capes, costumes, and caps!

“We are excited to host this mother-son event for the Brazos Valley community, as it is a great complement to our annual Daddy-Daughter Dance event,” says Ashley Kortis of the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley. “This event, along with our Daddy-Daughter Dance, furthers our mission to educate through play, and to empower parents in their child’s education. And most importantly, it will be a great evening of memory making for moms and sons alike.”

Tickets are $30 per Mommy-Son Pair, and $10 for each additional child, with all proceeds benefiting the new Play Aggieland! exhibit at the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley. Play Aggieland!, scheduled to begin construction this year, will bring iconic Brazos Valley landmarks to the Children’s Museum in child-friendly sizes!
