The annual Celebration of Hope celebrating recovery and mental health will be held at the First Baptist Church in Bryan on October 6 at 6:00pm. This free event celebrates the heroes and heroines whose lives are affected by mental illness. A program will be featured and awards given to peers, volunteers, and community members for outstanding work related to promoting compassion and decreasing stigma surrounding mental illness. Dress is business casual and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
