Do you think you missed your shot to compete in the Olympic Games?  Thanks to the Brazos Valley Senior Games, now is your chance to take home the gold in a wide range of events.

The games, which will be held from February 19 to the 22, will include competitive events like track and field, swimming, 3-on-3 basketball, cycling, horseshoes, archery, tennis, bowling, golf, and more.  The Senior Games are open to Brazos Valley Residents ages 45 and up.

According to the Senior Games website, the City of College Station is putting on the Senior Games to “promote physical and mental health and fitness among Texas Senior Citizens by encouraging them to maintain healthy lifestyles and social relationships, to participate in sports and recreational activities with other seniors, and to provide an environment for athletic competition.”

Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for each event and age group. Registration ends February 9. For more information on the events and how to register, head to cstx.gov.
