The Brazos Valley Fair and Rodeo will celebrate five years of fun this October 21-23 and announces this year’s entertainment line-up. The three-day event will feature artists from multiple genres catering to the wide array of musical interests in the Brazos Valley. The Fair showcases not only Country music this year but also Rock, Norteño, and Christian music performances.

Saturday’s Headliner on the Bud Light Stage will be Steve Wariner, an American county music singer, songwriter, and guitarist. This CMA and Grammy award winning artist has released 18 studio albums with such hits as Holes in the Floor of Heaven, Some Fools Never Learn, The Weekend, What I Didn’t Do, Kansas City Lights, and many more. Saturday will also feature Norteño band Grupo Mojado on the Rockin’ Spur Stage.

The Fair will kick into high gear Friday with Jason Boland and the Stragglers, an American Red Dirt, Texas Country band. The band originally formed in 1998 and has been making music that began with the album “Pearl Snaps,” and most recently released “Squelch” in 2015. The Emotions Band will be making their second appearance at the Fair on the Rockin’ Spur stage and promise a night of dancing to your favorite tunes. The Fair will wrap up the weekend on Sunday with performances by the singer/songwriter Jack Thweatt and Christian Band For A Season.

New for 2016 all children ages 12 and younger will have Free Admission, Ages 13 and older will cost $12 with early bird specials and carnival deals available online at
