In 2007, Jackie Sherrill’s 12th Man Kickoff Team Foundation was created to provide scholarships to students at Texas A&M University. The non-profit organization is comprised of 65 former 12th Man Kickoff Team players, including emeritus members Dr. John J. Koldus and the late Billy Pickard, and scholarship football lettermen including Dana Batiste, Louis Cheek, and Mark Farris. Annually, the foundation awards more than $20,000 in scholarships to juniors and seniors enrolled at Texas A&M. Fundraising for college scholarships is very important and volunteers are welcome.
